Tax-Free Limit For Gifts Raised

The chancellor hade made it easier for firms to reward long-service for employees by increasing the tax-free allowance for corporate gifts. In his latest Budget, Gordon Brown raised the allowance from £20 to £50, providing a valuable saving for employers. This will make it much more cost-effective to launch staff reward schemes.
