TIMESHEETS There's virtually nothing more important to you (or us) than getting your timesheet on time…simply because we can't pay you promptly if we don't have details of the hours you have worked! Deadline for timesheets: 9 am Monday at the very latest. |

|
If you lose your timesheet you can download a copy here. Please note that it is a .pdf document and requires the plug-in Adobe Acrobat that is available for free at www.adobe.com. We can't stress how crucial the Timesheet procedure is: We want you to be paid in full and on time, so please remember to double-check the details and hit that deadline!
All Temporary Workers are paid a week in arrears, with your Tax and National Insurance deducted at the source. Please ensure you have issued us with either a P45, P46 or P38 so we can administer the correct tax coding. Payment will be made to your bank account on the subsequent Friday.
As a Temporary Worker you are entitled to Holiday Pay. Your entitlement to payment for leave accrues in proportion to the amount of time worked. Under the Working Time Regulations we can only issue Holiday Pay when you are not working. To receive holiday pay please write to us detailing the period annual leave will be taken.
If you have a P45 that is less than 12 weeks old please send it to us immediately. If the P45 is older than 12 weeks please contact us and ask for a P46. If you are a student you may be exempt from paying income tax. Therefore please call us and ask for a P38(S). Please note that you must be currently studying. If you are a year out student you are not eligible for tax relief and you must complete a P46 or send us a P45. If you are working with another company contact us for a P46. If you do not have a P45 and/or are not a student please complete ask for P46. When completing the P46 please complete all of Section 1. Then complete Section 2 under Employee Details from National Insurance Number to Male/Female. Please leave the other information blank from Works/payroll number onwards. Failure to supply the correct tax information will result in deduction of basic rate tax. All original tax documents must be with Acorn Recruitment before your first payment is processed. Further information: It is your legal obligation to keep all PAYE slips that are enclosed with your payment. We are unable to duplicate any pay slips. At the end of each assignment, or when requested a P45 will be issued. It is your responsibility to keep this information safe as we are unable to duplicate any P45s. At the end of each tax year we will issue a P60 to every temporary worker who is currently in a temporary assignment. We are unable to issue P60s to anyone who is not currently working for us and/or we have issued a P45. If you require information regarding earnings please refer to your PAYE slips, P45 or contact the Tax Office. |
